Before I got my 64-bit Windows 7 computer, I used to regularly transfer pictures with an Secure Digital card and card reader, but now the card reader no longer works. Even when using a cable directly to the camera, I can't download pictures.

Most PCs manufactured in the past three years (i.e. after Vista's debut) are capable of running 64-bit Windows 7. The exceptions are those that ship with low-end CPUs that don't support the AMD or Intel 64-bit extensions. Examples include Intel's Atom line of low-powered CPUs and early Intel Core CPUs, like the Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo). If you're not sure what kind of CPU is in your system, or whether the CPU supports 64-bit operation.

It seems that your card reader get bad. The other thing we can also guess that your software is crashed through which you are downloading. I just suggest you the best to re-installed your that of the software. Hopefully you can solve your problem.

After reading many posts and search software compatibility, Office 2003, I felt confident with the new Windows 7 64-bit program will work. Without further qualification, a 64-bit computer architecture generally the 64-bit wide integer registers that have been addressed, between 32 to 64-bit data types to allow direct support and addresses. The difference - and 64-bit systems basically comes down to this: mowindows 7re RAM 64-bit systems can handle more data.
