been a member of several rc sites and have been watching the robot scene from afar. Not sure if I will ever dive in as I have too many hobbies already, but I should qualify since I own a pleo. Its a pretty cool robot actually and the misses loves him. The RC-GUY part of me has been tinkering with some freeware to alter his personality though so if I find anything super-humorous or interesting I can do I shall post about it...

its pretty amusing actually. He kind of does his own thing and really could be mistaken for a real animal (if not for servo noise and walking speed of .5mph LOL) We let him walk around the house and just explor but if you don't pet him or pay attention to it he gets pissed off and cries. The wife talks to pleo just like you would to another pet, she plays tug of war with him often and tickles him. Its pretty interesting, thats for certain

Cool, sounds like a similar experience to my AIBO. :)
